From The Heart and The Hands of A Friend

I just received this most incredibly wonderful gift made by the caring hands of my friend, Margaret Bouwmeester, of The French Bear. Even though Margaret and I have never met face to face, we have become good friends through the magic and connectedness of blogging. She made these beautiful gifts for me as a tribute to and keepsake of my little Chloe Pudd'in Pie.
Thank you Margaret soooooooooo very much for giving me something from your heart and your hands. I will treasure them always as will I always treasure our friendship.

Dear Shell,
I love your blog and your sweet fur babies. I found your blog one day while crusing through blog land. I was so taken with your bunnies but forgot to look at the title of your blog. I thought I had saved it to my favorites. I have been looking for you for weeks. Finally, I found you this week and was so happy and than so sad to learn about Chole. Its like losing a baby when one loses a pet.

In the early 70's, my son brought home a rabbit who was so smart and comical. It kept us in stitches with the things he did. If we ignored him, he would untie our shoelaces. He was potty trained, love to have his ear scratch and love to chew on a large carrot. He was simply amazing. If he didn't like something we did, we would "growl" - didn't know rabbits did this. He had a fancy rabbit hutch with two separate rooms and was kept in a fenced in area during the summer/early fall. We would mulch leaves throw the entire large bag over the fence and by night fall, he would have them all scattered and even for his entire area. We brought him in for the winter. We finally lost him to a kidney problem. He brought such joy into our lives and I will never forget the time we had together.

Love your sweet Razzy and your new one is sweet too.

What a lovely gift to remind you of Chole - you are so Blessed to have such a neat friend.

Hugs,
Connie

Shell, I am so happy that you finally received my parcel!! I felt so heartbroken for you, losing Chloe, I just wanted to make you some little keepsake of her!!! Of course it was so much fun to needle punch her picture, I had to keep reading your posts about her so I would get her coloring right, I would have a little "moment" and then run back to my sewing room to stitch!!! She was a puddin' pie, wasn't she? Loved her sweet little bunny face!!!!
Hugs
